Adult Singles Box League

We are excited to be restarting our successful Singles Box League for all adult Brondesbury members. 

As players will be split into leagues depending on ability, this is a great opportunity for members of ALL standards to play more regularly, keep fit and improve their game in competitive but friendly matches.

Each round will run for approximately 10 weeks, during which time you will be expected to have played everyone in your league. 

Matches will be one set, arranged at a mutually convenient time. However, there are to be no matches played during Club Social times. These include Saturday and Sundays 10.00 – 12.00noon.

Marina & Judith's Leaving Drinks

 As most of you now know, we are unfortunately losing Marina and Judith at the end of August. They have both played a big role in the coaching team and also in club life as a whole and will be sorely missed by everyone. 

Marina is going back to Spain to start a degree in Physiotherapy, whilst Judith is going to finish her Sports Management and Marketing Masters in London and then look for a job in this area. We wish them both well in their new ventures, and remind them that they always have a home at Brondesbury. 

As a thank you for all their hard work and commitment, they were able to enjoy a day out at the Wimbledon Men's Final (as pictured above).

To celebrate their time with us we are having leaving drinks for both on Sunday 29th July at 5.00pm at the club.

Please do come along for some farewell drinks and some impromptu games as only Brondesbury knows how!

Further to my email last week, we have now decided to also include a Wednesday morning Improver class. Please see the confirmed group dates below:

  • Wednedsay 18th July: Improvers 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Thursday 19th July: Matchplay 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Wednesday 25th July: Improvers 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Thursday 26th July: Matchplay 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Wednesday 1st August: Improvers 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Thursday 2nd August: Matchplay 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Wednesday 8th August: Improvers 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Thursday 9th August: Matchplay 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Wednesday 15th August: Improvers 9.00 - 10.00am
  • Thursday 16th August: Matchplay 9.00 - 10.00am
During this period none of our other classes will run, however, our full schedule will resume from Monday 10th September.
